Why We Need Registry Cleaner?

Driving a car without giving it a tune up or checking the brakes every so often, is a disaster waiting to happen.
your pc may become slow and unstable if you do not regularly clean the registry.

The Windows registry is the most important file in your system. It tells Windows, your programs and hardware what do to do and where to go. If something is awry within it, you can get a myriad of signs telling you that something is wrong, but not telling you what the exact problem may be.

If you don’t know exactly what you are doing, playing with the registry is a dangerous proposition. This is why registry cleaners are so important, They help you clean the registry the right way.

Why do you need one? Well, when you uninstall a program using its own uninstaller, does a horrible job removing its own files and folders. It leaves registry entries called keys within the registry that can bloat your registry or make it unstable.

If there are invalid entries in the registry, Windows and the hard drive try very hard at boot up to find these files, causing your system to have a slow start and perform sluggishly throughout the day.

Another cause of registry and system instability is the installations of hardware and Windows’ own files, particularly after driver and system updates.

With the registry constantly being written to during the period of operation, new keys will frequently be added and rarely removed effectively.

This is where registry cleaners come in. They analyze these keys and invalid file locations and remove them. They do a good job and are quite effective in fixing a sluggish system.

Sometimes, however, they do a job too well. Occasionally, they remove valid entries because a particular entry associated with a program you uninstalled, may also be used by other programs that still need it. It is, therefore, important to verify the flagged entries that a registry cleaner notes for deletion. Take your time in reviewing them before pressing that all-important clean all button.

Backing up the registry is also important and very easy to do. You can use the registry backup that comes with the registry cleaner or use Windows’ own backup program to do so. This way, if the registry cleaner does a far more elaborate job than you expected, you can always restore the registry to its old bad self and start again. Please note that all programs must be closed prior to running a registry cleaner, as open programs may continue to write to the registry.

Having run a cleaner through your registry, you are assured of a more stable system and faster start up and shut down.
