Tip: what to do when “Start” Button slowing?

The “Menu Start” Windows responds slowly? If you take lots of time switching between sub – menus of the start menu, a Registry change is all that is needed to improve the situation


Already collected, defragmend, cleaned, and still the response time of the start menu long annoy? Has a solution – and it did not involve formatting.

Warning: If you do not know how to handle the registry file (Registry) and / or back it up before you make changes, better ask for help from someone.

What do you do?

A. Enter the registry editor (RegEdit), navigate to the location:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Control Panel -> Desktop.

B. The right side of the window, looking for the value MenuShowDelay. Mark him perform a double click to enter the editing window.

C. Choose the desired value (eg 0) confirm.

D. Enter the File menu and choose Exit to save and finish the editing.

E. Reset

Explanation

Defines the value MenuShowDelay milliseconds  time  passes from the moment your cursor passes over an item on the Start menu to open its submenu. That is, it adds time to stay tuned to move from the menu.

The default for this value is 400, that is 0.4 seconds. Normally under optimal conditions, it is time necessary to adjust the speed of computer response slow response of human beings (by braking distance).

In practice, after a while of use the computer without formatting, you can significantly reduce this value even put it on 0 (zero number)
