There is a program (for the Windows OS) called a registry cleaner. This kind of program will identify (automatically) your computer’s registry data. It will also manage them (either if they are redundant or temporary). So the Windows Registry has its own central settings, configurations database used by the Microsoft OS for all major process. You need to maintain the registry on a constant level, like any similar database. Click here registry cleaner reviews to read more about Registry Cleaners.

There are lots of effective Registry Cleaners available on the market. You should know that not all of them are really so good, neither are they doing well their job. Because of that, please always find and read adequate products reports and consumers ones about Registry Cleaners. Then you will be able to make the right decision about purchasing the product, This is a crucial procedure, especially in the case of PC users with relatively no Windows registry cleaner related experience. This website Windows 7 registry cleaner reviews has infos for Windows 7 Registry cleaners while this one Windows 7 registry cleaner comparison has pertinent infos for you.

Experienced PC user or just PC enthusiast out of hobby, it is indeed recommended to use a registry cleaner for the reason that sooner or later the Windows registry will become crowded with invalid, temporary or redundant data that will have a major impact over the overall performance of the operating system. Due to the size and complexity of the structure of the Windows registry, any attempt at manually identifying such redundant database entries will be proof to be both impractical and inefficient due to the fact that the process will take too much time and will be completely unreliable.

Such programs (registry cleaners, registry cleanup softwares) will run automatically to identify, backup and remove the redundant information on your System Registry. Such an automatic process will be able to identify invalid Windows registry entries, missing file references and broken links in a record amount of time and with increased accuracy due to a set of pre-programmed procedures.

Experts believe that registry cleaner software will be a common Windows operating system maintenance tool for as long as the Windows registry is required to store and access application related data.

It’s frustrating, it’s pesky, and it ruins an otherwise good day. When your internet freezes, start saying good bye to a great day. Fortunately, you don’t really have to put up with it. Because there are ways that can help you with it – from difficult to easy. Below are some of the things that can help you.

Let’s start with the complicated solution first.

When wanting to fix the internet, one of the first things you will want to do is to check the computer’s registry. Your computer’s registry is a delicate system of files that keep tabs of the changes – whether addition or deletion of files – in your computer. With use, this registry becomes bloated and errors – from dll errors to computer and internet freezing – start to occur.

Now, what you want to do is to examine and fix the errors in the registry. Fixing the registry manually can be quite complicated. One wrong move and you will surely send your computer to the nearest computer repair shop, if there is any hope in reviving it, that is. Unless you really know your way with computers, we advise you to use a program that is designed to clean the registry or buy a program that will do just that for you. Nevertheless, there are still risks in using any type of registry cleaners. There are plenty of registry cleaners that can damage your computer while trying to fix it.

Now with the easy ones.

Depending on your browser, your internet may freeze randomly but constantly or every so often. Internet browsers such as Internet Explorer and Google Chrome or more likely to crash than other browsers.

With that said, it is good to remember that repairing one type of browser is different from another. In general, browsers act up if: You have installed plenty of browser add-ons, there is not enough space allocated for your browser’s Temporary Internet files or if there isn’t enough space available, if your internet browser is outdated, if there is a problem with the security program of your browser, and if your browser can’t keep up with your PC’s acceleration. In some rare cases, your computer, itself, can be blamed. If your PC is acting up, your browser gets affected.

Apparently, you can only solve internet problems if you know the cause. If you are having problems with insufficient disk space, try freeing up some space in your temporary internet file folder and in your browsing history. If you are not using the temporary internet folder that often, try decreasing the amount of disk space allocated for it. It is also wise if you will avoid installing new add-ons in your browser. Having a lot of of these might help you with some things but it will backfire if you are not careful.

If your internet freezes because of security issues, you can scan your computer with malware protection program software for any malware – adware, spyware, virus, Trojan and worm – that bogs it down. Two other things that you need to address in this area are your antivirus and firewall programs and settings. If you think these cause the problem, try disabling your firewall settings and antivirus programs and see if this will resolve the problem. Finally, freezing can be caused by driver failure; be sure that your drivers are updated.

When improving computer’s overall performance, most users only look to improve their PC’s startup time. Now, what you want to do is to speed up all the functions of your PC. Thus, you need to focus on improving its shutdown speed as well. Here’s how to speed up shutdown time to help you make the most out of your computer’s functions.

Improving shutdown speed requires some changes to be made in the registry. Since we are working with a very delicate system, you will have to create a backup for your registry. You can do this in two different ways –by accessing the registry files via a backup tool which you can download online or by using the Export tool available in your computer . The latter, a less troublesome process, is done by accessing the Windows Registry Editor by typing in the ‘regedit’ command in the Start Search box or in the Run dialogue box. This will direct you to a separate window. What you want to do next is to look for the ‘File’ tab and hit the ‘Export’ key. This process will automatically create a backup file for your registry.

After backing up your files, do the following. Please take note that while there are differences in working with the registries of Windows XP and Windows Vista, the principles are still the same.

{Step 1}
Go to ‘Start’ and click ‘Run’ for XP or ‘Start Search’ for Vista. Then, type in Regedt32 or Regedit on the box that appears. Like the instructions mentioned previously, this will direct you to the Windows Registry Editor.

{Step 2}
Study the five folders situated on the left side of the window. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Control Panel, then Desktop. On your right, you will see a key that reads ‘WaitToKillAppTimeout‘. Double click on this key and change the value on the box that will show up. The recommended change is anywhere between 3500 and 5000 milliseconds, however, if you really want to speed up your PC’s shutdown time, you can change it to 1000 milliseconds. To save the new changes, click ‘OK’.

Vista users will begin with a different folder. Navigate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, go to System, find the CurrentControlSet then hit Control. Search for the key, ‘WaitToKillServiceTimeout’, and modify the value according to the instructions mentioned above.

{Step 3}
Windows XP users can continue with the next set of instructions on changing the settings of the ‘HungAppTimeout. Search for the location of this key via the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder. Search for the key named, ‘HungAppTimeout’ key, and double click it. Now, modify its current value to 1000 milliseconds.

Then continue with the second step for Windows Vista users.

{Step 4}
Leave the Registry Editor and restart your PC. Notice the significant change in the speed of your computer’s shutdown after this.

For those people who hesitate on changing the settings of their registry, they can, instead, settle for a quick solution – hibernation. The Hibernation function bypasses the time-consuming process of shutting off your computer and eventually speed up shutdown time.

Error Nuker is amidst the most admired registry cleaning software accessible online. Over years of use, a lot of clutter gets accumulated in your computer’s Windows registry. These encompass missing program links, remnant records from uninstalled software , broken shortcuts, etc. A registry riddled with errors is one of the main causes of slow Windows performance. This Error Nuker review will notify you if this program is capable of cleaning and making it anew.

A registry full of errors wouldn’t have been such a foremost issue if it didn’t influence your computer’s performance. If you have felt your computer abruptly slow down over the past couple of months, or if your computer has been crashing frequently for no evident reason, you can blame an unclean registry for it. Much of the underlying architecture of Windows is founded on the registry, and if it is full of errors, your system’s operation and stability will suffer greatly.

This is where a registry cleaner like Error Nuker steps into the picture. Error Nuker is a tiny program constructed with the sole reason of putting your Windows registry back in top condition. You can do this either automatically (recommended) or manually (only for experts), schedule scans, and furthermore rid your computer off any unused taskbar programs, icons, etc. In other words: Error Nuker is the one stop shop to advance your computer’s performance.

There are a lot of competing registry cleaning programs on the market, although, couple of these offer the extensive features of Error Nuker for example registry backup, undo, scan scheduler, etc. The extent of errors repaired by other registry cleaners also pales when compared to Error Nuker.

You can download Error Nuker since it bids a free trial, and see the enhancement in your computer’s pace and stability. If you are dissatisfied with your computer’s performance, or frustrated with frequent crashes, thereafter Error Nuker might just be the software for you.

What is a Good Windows Registry Cleaner?

The Windows Registry is both the boon and bane of the PC world, a world that almost exclusively belongs to Microsoft. The registry is the core of any Windows PC. It hides in the background and is deliberately difficult to access manually due to the dangers involve. One wrong move and your computer becomes a very expensive paperweight.

The registry literally controls every aspect of the computer, an Orwellian Big Brother of the PC. You might think you control your computer, but no. That is the job of the registry. If you are nice, it will allow you to make suggestions from time to time, but never directly.

Of course, if you are very brave, you can attempt to speak to the great and powerful Oz, but it is not advised. That is why several software companies have created registry cleaners to help optimize the registry for you. You tell the software what you want to accomplish and how to accomplish it, and the software searches the thousand of keys and values within the Registry with an efficiency that no human being could hope to match. Of course, even supercomputers are not perfect, so you should always back up or ghost your PC before beginning such an operation. Of course, you back up all your important data already, don’t you?

Some of the more popular registry cleaning software packages are RegCure, Registry Mechanic, and Registry Easy, all of which can be downloaded from Answer Registry Reviews, where you can also find software reviews and relevant articles on the Windows Registry. RegCure from ParetoLogic has the highest review, although the three each have their pros and cons and are rather evenly matched (each receiving at least 4 out of five stars). Registry Mechanic came in second, but it comes from PC Tools, a highly respected company that offers a number of software tools and free support. Registry Easy offers free technical support and a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee and it is, well…easy!

It’s important to keep you registry clean as it can become quite bloated after weeks or months of usage storing Internet histories, temporary file information, and a ton of other information that is no longer relevant or useful. A bloated registry can slow your computer considerably, and may even harbor pernicious viruses that have hidden activation triggers deep inside where they cannot easily be found. Computer “best practices” include regularly backing up all your important data, running a defragmentation utility and cleaning your registry. Failing to do any of these things is like driving your car without checking the oil – ever. Eventually the engine seizes up into a solid mass. There never seems to be a “good time” for a computer crash, so proper maintenance is essential.

For more discussion on the Windows Registry, check out the reviews and articles at Answer Registry Reviews . If you find a solution that you like, you can use links on the site to download and purchase the software as well.
