System, automatic updates of Windows do you death, you might lose information, because

non-impulse – its controlled to reset . But there’s a simple solution

No doubt this is one of the most annoying features of Windows: After installing this update from Windows Update, the system will notify you that you need to reset . If you refuse politely, she repeatedly bully you into submission, or – take advantage of a moment when get up from your computer to reboot itself.

Perhaps already burned out of this then you know: Windows format if you have any open documents and downloads not ended.

If this action occurs at night, when your computer is running and you in your sleep, so she might interrupt maintenance scheduled for the night as tests for viruses, defragmenting, etc..

In short, unhealthy and sometimes unpleasant.

How do you turn off the boot

If you use the Pro version of XP, you can cancel the automatic boot easily:

A. Enter a command prompt and type gpedit.msc. Click Enter.

B. Navigate to Computer Configuration / Administrative Template / Windows Components / Windows Update.

C. Locate the option No auto-restart for scheduled Automatic Updates installations. Double check and make.

D. Change the setting window that opens from Not Configured or Disabled to Enabled.

That’s it.

What do other Windows versions

The method described also works with Windows 2000 SP3, Windows 2003 and Vista.

In Vista has another solution: enter the command prompt, type – “net stop windows update” tap Enter. Windows Update is now disabled. It will restart next startup.

The Home version of Windows XP will have to use another solution – a change in Registry (if you do not know how to how to back up first, better to avoid):

A. Enter the registry editor navigate

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Software / Policies / Microsoft / Windows / WindowsUpdate / AU

B. Change the value for NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers to 1 (if it does not exist create a urinal DWord).

This article will teach you a few ways that can be used by you to protect your computer from viruses.

What is the potential of a virus?

If you have ever experienced a virus in your computer them I am sure you will be know how that all effect to your computer performance, and how this can be done by that virus if It enters your computer. If you have never go a virus in your computer then you will not know if you have still virus on your computer, and how this can damage your computer by virus. A virus is usually created so that the developer can steal data from the computers of other people. It can corrupt your system files of windows to make your computer completely useless, it can hack your system and only the virus developer will be able to use and open your system and even you will not be able to open it then. A virus can steal away all your important data like your email passwords and your credit card number.

Adware

These types of viruses which are have different effects to your computer and they not always harmful. Some well known computer software developers like Divx have also produced a few adware which do not harm any user but most of the adwares are harmful. If an adware effects your PC performance then your computer will keep on displaying like nothing happens.

Image from Flicker by viZZZual.com

Malware

They are the true forms or viruses which have with viruses, worms, Trojan horses, most root kits, spyware, dishonest adware, crime ware, and other malicious and unwanted software in one pack. They are very dangerous and can hurt your computer performance hard and when they enter a PC then user can’t will even get hint if his PC has been affected by a malware.

Spyware

It is a same type like malware. If your PC affected by a one type of a spyware then your PC will be prone to transfer a personal data from your computer to the spyware developer. Such spywares can steal away all the important information you have on computer, which is stored in your PC and many important things like your bank account number, credit card, personal passwords access, more.

Antivirus

The most common preventive measure to protect a PC from any computer virus is to use an antivirus. Most of those who use the internet on a regular basis have an anti-virus installed in their computers. Most of the anti-viruses are very expensive and only a few new brands have launched their free versions or trial versions. A few popular antivirus softwares are:

Avast

AVG

Avira

Bitdefender

Kaspersky

McAfee

Norton

Panda

Trend micro

Zone alarm

An type of antivirus need to have a very strong internet and email protection because internet is the biggest source from all viruses the people experienced every day, where all viruses are transferred from one computer to another. Because that recommends that if you have an internet connection then you should install antivirus software.

What happen if your PC attacked? Anti-virus and all protection software you have not helped? You can try recovering windows in safe mode windows.

How to recover your infected computer?

Here 2 of the best methods to recover your computer after it have been attacked by a virus:

System recovery windows

Once your computer has been attacked by a virus then you need just act quick because it is high time and you need to take some action quickly. First restart your computer and press F8 and chose in list Safe Mode Windows. Then you will access your windows as safe mode then you should to go the start menu → All programs → Accessories → System tools → System restore. There is no complete surety the virus will be removed by this but there is a great chance of success with this method. The second method less effective with all your removed information but more effective with your computer windows system like new.

Formatting your hard disk

Once your computer has been affected then best and easiest option is to format your hard disk. The advantage us that offer you have formatted your hard disk and then re-installed your windows then the virus will be removed 100% but the disadvantage is that if you have not got back up of your data and then when you format your hard disk it will remove all your data. So it is recommended that before doing a format you should have the back up.

Microsoft plans to develop the windows 8 with 128-bit support, reports the British site PC Pro. Carelessness of an employee in the development department of the software giant has brought the discovery details about the next operating system from Microsoft.

Robert Morgan research worker wrote in his profile on LinkedIn about private social work including “research and development projects including architecture match to 128-bit for the core of windows 8 and 9 windows project plan. Developing relationships with business partners such as Intel, AMD, HP, and IBM. ”

Morgan’s profile has been removed from the site but of course you can still find it different cache sites.

Microsoft has released so far very few details about its plans for the future operating systems market, but his visit to Britain earlier this week, denied the company’s CEO Steve Ballmer the rumors that Windows 7 will be the last operating system for desktop computers. He admitted planning windows 8 began, but the operating system not expected to leave before 2012.

Should You Upgrade to Windows 7?

Microsoft is launching a new operating system, Windows 7. After the experience of Windows Vista which was not well received, the computer world waits with some trepidation. Should you switch to the new operating system (OS)? Will your existing software work on 7?

If your PC or laptop is currently running on Vista then you should certainly consider moving to the new OS. Windows 7 has been described as ‘Everything Vista should have been’. Laptop owners in particular will appreciate the new OS. Vista is very memory intensive and many people found their laptops run very slowly, and many new notebooks can’t even run on Vista.

Windows 7 has slimmed down somewhat with some of the free programs in Vista being dropped – examples being Windows Mail, Photo Gallery, Calendar and Movie Maker. Some of those functions have been replaced and it is easy enough to download freebies like mail programs from the Internet. However, Microsoft still recommend that your computer has 1GB RAM so you may need to increase your computer’s memory – easy to do on a PC but not a laptop.

Upgrading from Vista is simply a matter of loading a DVD and clicking on a button. Note that the upgrade is available only on a DVD, so if your machine only has a CD player then your hands are tied.

What about upgrading from Windows XP? Not so easy I am afraid, be prepared to wipe everything off your hard-drive and install 7 from scratch. That isn’t as daunting as it sounds; however, if your computer is running XP then it must be nearly 6 years old so you may wish to consider buying a new computer with the latest operating system already fitted.

Future articles will look at what is new in Windows 7.

If you want the latest upgrade for Windows – as part of your overall effort to ensure that you have a personal computer that is operating at its peak performance – you may be like many people and not want to wait until the planned full launch of Windows 7 in the fall of 2009.

You may be like many people who constantly rely on their computers and want to take full advantage of the announced benefits associated with Windows 7 sooner rather than later.

There is a way through which you actually can order the Windows 7 upgrade today. Microsoft has announced the Windows 7 Upgrade Option Program, a scheme that kicked off in June of 2009. Through the Windows 7 Upgrade Option Program you are now order the latest version of Windows … today.

Most striking of all, for a limited time you can pre-order Windows 7 through this program today and pay 50% less than the already reduced retail price. When all is said and done, this represents the most significant price reduction associated with any Windows launch in history. Indeed, you can pre-order the latest version of Windows for a price that is markedly cheaper than what you pay to obtain the current version – Vista.

One of the prior issues associated with Windows involved the Windows registry. Because of the manner in which the Windows registry functioned, over time a person would find his or her computer starting to operate more slowly. Typically, a person needed to order a registry cleaner in order to eliminate the “waste” that collected in the Windows registry over time.

A new design feature associated with Windows 7 is an elimination of many of these problems that inherently were associated with the Windows registry in the past. In other words, it is anticipated that Windows 7 will have eliminated a good share of the speed related problems that stemmed from the Windows registry over time.

Of course, if you are using a Windows operating system of one type or another today and do find that it is not performing as efficiently as you desire, you will also want to check into obtaining a registry cleaner. There are a variety of products on the market today that can provide you with a registry cleaner.

Obviously, understanding that you do not have the time to deal with a sluggish computer, you really don’t have the time to hunt down the best possible registry cleaner either. Therefore, as one of your primary resources for tracking down a registry cleaner, you definitely will want to take advantage of the Registry Cleaners website. Here you will be able to make a side by side comparison of the different registry cleaners that are on the market today.

You will be able to select a registry cleaner that has the operational features that you think will be most useful for you. Moreover, you will be able to identify a registry cleaner that is available at a price that fits well within your budget.
