Fix Stop Error 0×00000024 With a Registry Cleaner

We are so used to starting up our computers without a glitch that when we get the Windows Blue Screen of Death it can be pretty frazzling. This infamous Windows error screen is indicative of a critical system error and may display a variety of error messages. Among these error messages is the “stop error 0×00000024.”

The “stop error 0×00000024″ appears during the startup of a Windows operating system. This stop error usually results when a problem occurs within your system’s Ntfs.sys file, which lets your computer to write and read NTFS partitions. It may also be caused by a damage in the NTFS file system, damaged or corrupt hard drive data, or damaged SCSI or IDE drivers.

Though the “stop error 0×00000024″ error message may appear quite unnerving, it is actually pretty straightforward to resolve. If your system still allows you to access Windows, try to disable any virus programs, backup programs, or disk defragmenter tools that continuously monitor your computer. Next, try to run a hardware diagnostic tool in order to detect errors that may be in your hard drive. Finally, run chkdsk /r to detect and repair any structural damage in your file system.

If windows does not load, you can access your NTFS partitions by creating an ntfs boot disk with an NTFS4DOS. Load up the floppy disk in your system and choose option 1. Then type “chkdsk /r” at the command prompt. The “stop error 0×00000024″ should be resolved once your disk has been repaired.

Unfortunately, this stop error may not be resolved if your partition is damaged beyond repair. In this case, you’ll have no other choice but to reformat your partition so you can use it again.

Seeing how frazzling and unnerving the “stop error 0×00000024″ can be, the best way to resolve it is to prevent it from occurring at all. One way to do this is by keeping a clean registry. As time goes on, your computer registry may accumulate a build-up of registries from programs that you’ve installed and uninstalled in your computer. Fragments of these previous programs remain in the registry as most programs do not completely and cleanly remove themselves from the registry.

The quickest and easiest way to accomplish this is to use a registry cleaner. This utility software automatically rids your system of unwanted registry entries. It also performs a full scan of your system to detect corrupt or missing files and automatically restores them. Hence, if your system is free of errors, particularly those files that are related with the “stop error 0×00000024″ error, then the chances of this issue from occurring stays slim.

You can never be too careful when dealing with critical system errors such as the “stop error 0×00000024″. In this case, prevention is better than cure, and a registry cleaner is your best tool for this task.

Fixing stop error 0×00000024 is easy to do with registry cleaner. If you scan your computer it will detect the errors in your registry and safely remove them.
